Singing lessons in and around Elst

Looking for singing lessons near Rhenen, Veenendaal or Wageningen? In my own voice studio in Elst (Utrecht) I teach children and adults, from beginners to advanced singers. I’m Wanda Peters, soprano and voice teacher, and I help you sing with more ease and enjoyment – with music you love.

What can you do with me?

• Singing lessons – individual lessons for children and adults, from classical to pop and from children’s songs to jazz.
• Vocal workshops – five evenings of singing in a group of up to 5 people, or a one-off singing workshop for a birthday, company outing or choir weekend.
• Diction and choral coaching – pronunciation in singing for singers and choirs, in French, English, Dutch, German, Italian and Spanish, based on the IPA.
• Performances – you can book me as a singer for a recital, a musical interlude or a funeral. I’m happy to help you choose the right music.

Singing lesson fees

The length of a children’s lesson depends on the age and on the child. A vocal workshop of five evenings costs € 100 p.p. for a group of 5 and € 125 p.p. for a group of 4.

Where is the voice studio?

My voice studio is at Franseweg 109, 3921 DG Elst (Utrecht). Elst is a village in the municipality of Rhenen, in the province of Utrecht, between Rhenen and Veenendaal.

This makes the studio easy to reach from:

• Rhenen and Veenendaal
• Wageningen and Kesteren, on the other side of the Rhine
• Amerongen, Leersum and the rest of the Utrechtse Heuvelrug

About Wanda

I graduated as a performing musician from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 1993 and continued my studies at the Utrecht Conservatory with Meinard Kraak. I have sung songs from more than 60 countries in more than 40 languages. In 2004 I founded Zangstudio Bilthoven. Since my move to Elst it has been called Zangstudio Elst. Read more about Wanda.

Is this Elst in Utrecht or Elst in Gelderland?

Elst in the province of Utrecht (municipality of Rhenen, postcode 3921), between Rhenen and Veenendaal – not Elst near Arnhem.

I live in Rhenen, Veenendaal or Wageningen. Can I take lessons with you?

Yes, you’re very welcome. Elst lies between Rhenen and Veenendaal, and it’s only a short trip from Wageningen, Kesteren, Amerongen and Leersum too.

How much do singing lessons in Elst cost?

A lesson for adults lasts 60 minutes and costs € 50. Children have a lesson of 30 minutes (€ 35) or 40 minutes (€ 40).

Do you still teach in De Bilt?

I also teach in a studio at Dr. Letteplein 3 in De Bilt, but there is currently no room for new students there.

Can I come and sing with a group?

Yes. In a vocal workshop you sing with up to 5 participants. For a birthday, company outing or choir weekend I create a tailor-made workshop.
