On Saturday 19 May 2012, as part of the ‘Weekendje Kunst’ arts weekend, Wanda Peters organised Het Muziekatelier (The Music Studio) in the former Knijff fashion shop in the middle of De Kwinkelier in Bilthoven: a whole day of masterclasses, workshops and an open stage, with five professional music teachers. More than 60 local people made music that day. The teaching musicians had rehearsed a piece by Beethoven together and performed it several times in between.
Wanda Peters: ‘It was so fantastic! Het Muziekatelier was exactly what I had in mind when I came up with it.’
