A house recital organised by the Soroptimist club De Bilt-Bilthoven. Wanda put together a classical programme of twelve songs about brooks and rivers in four languages, by Franz Schubert, Edvard Grieg, Frédéric Chopin, Francis Poulenc, Roger Quilter and Clara Schumann — from a Norwegian hymn of praise to water to a Polish folk song, German love songs and a cheerful English poem.
The proceeds of € 507.50 went to the My Book Buddy project for the Gracious school in Arusha, Tanzania.
