At the first Soroptimist inspiration event The Voice of a Woman in Ede, Wanda performed one of the musical interludes between the talks. The English-language event, hosted by TV journalist Hannie Hoekstra, drew some 150 visitors from the Netherlands and abroad, with speakers on voice use, heart health, diversity and refugees, among other things — in keeping with the Soroptimist International motto: A global voice for women.
